Abbott
Brand Building Playbook
Some briefs ask for a film; this one asked for a life. The Long Game follows an elderly golfer whose pacemaker never gets a mention it does not earn, because Abbott's story is not the device, it is the decades it quietly returns. Our brief: honour that gift without sentimentality.
We shot it as documentary, not advertisement, natural light, real routines, questions asked and left unanswered on camera. The craft lay in patience: letting a hand tee a ball in silence, trusting a fairway at dawn to say what a script never could.
For a company that usually speaks in clinical language, the film changed the register entirely. It let Abbott stand for time itself, mornings, marriages, one more round, and audiences met the brand not as a manufacturer of devices but as a keeper of years.
